Joseph Lee, Jr.works and resides in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Mr. Lee was born in the fall of October 1971 to Leora Washington and Joseph Lee,Sr... Joseph grew up as an Jehovah's Witness and was baptized as a young child. Joseph attended DC public schools and after high school, took up a trade as a Building Engineer. Joseph has been a successful Building Engineer Supervisor for over 20 years and currently works for a large real estate company. He enjoys playing and coaching sports, reading, and being around family and friends. Joseph's struggles and battles as a young child growing up gave him the self-determination to be successful in anything that he does and his books,along with the way he lives his life,is a testament to this...
Joseph recently had his book "Growing Up A Witness" published in 2009 and he's very thankful for those who have supported him for so many years. This book gives in detail the horror that Mr. Lee endured as a young child but with God's support and his surroundings Mr. Lee has survived and helped persons that have went through similar situations. Mr. Lee's constant involvement in the community and speaking with young kids is what drives Joseph's life. Joseph could have chose to live a quiet and peaceful life but instead he chose to take a stand against domestic violence... Mr. Lee always expressed his feelings against domestic violence and has helped and counseled many young men on how to break the cycle of abuse. Mr. Lee has said on numerous occasions that this is only the beginning and has looked forward to the future and helping those in need... \
