This book "Growing Up A Witness" is about a young man's trapped feelings growing up as a Jehovah's Witness child and how the religion his Mom selected affected their relationship for the last 30 years. This book represents his life struggles and how he endured growing up in a violent and abusive home. My hope is that this book can help persons who may be experiencing some of the pain and emotional abuse he endured as a child,a young man, and as an adult and break the cycle of abuse.

 

I would like to express what it was like growing up as a young Jehovah's Witness child and the things that I had to endure. As a Jehovah's Witness, you are taught a different way of life and a different way of living. As a Witness, I've learned to live through a lot of pain as a young child and I had to accept things that normal people wouldn't have accepted. I grew up in a  very violent household and this book helps explain my feelings and the feelings I have for my mother who is a Jehovah's Witness today.

 

I aspire to strengthen each person's confidence and joy and hopefully help those who may be living in or going through Domestic Violence today. Violence actually affects everyone in the family and I have lived and planned my life around helping those going through this today. Young children are especially affected by violence and my hope is that this book may help persons that are affected. I'm excited to share my story with them on how I endured and became a loving successful  man.

 

 

Part of the book proceeds goes towards the House Of Ruth Maryland which fights against domestic violence in today's homes...
